UW-Stout’s Imai Named To WGCA All-Region Team

WILLIAMSBURG, Va.--University of Wisconsin-Stout’s Julia Imai has been named to the 2025 Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) NCAA Division III Region 3/Central Team.

Imai was tabbed the 2024 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Player of the Year and Kwik Trip Newcomer of the Year. She won the WIAC Championship and owned a 75.50 stroke average. Imai finished in the top-eight in nine of 11 events, and capped her season with an eighth-place finish at the PGA Works Championship.

Imai is the fifth UW-Stout golfer to earn all-region distinction, joining Brittany McNett Emerich (2013, 2014, 2015), Mariah Chesley (2015), Brittany McNett-Emerich (2013, 2014, 2015), and Abbey Filipiak (2023, 2024).
