Twenty Receive WCGA All-American Scholar Recognition

--Twenty Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) individuals have been named to the 2025-26 Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team.
 
Student-athletes from the WIAC receiving the WGCA honor included: University of Wisconsin-River Falls’ Martha Effertz, Madison Haines, Lily Sullivan and Ellie Whitbred; UW-Stout’s Kaitlyn Bohl, Sarah Chaffee, Julia Imai, Ashleigh Johnson, Avey Meyer, Brin Neumann, Hallie Tulip and Peyton Zipperer; and UW-Whitewater’s Norah Berken, Megan Honn, Natalie Kammer, Alexa Reed, Abbie Reiser, Payton Schmidt, Kellie Shanahan and Elizabeth Vanderhei.
 
To be selected an All-American Scholar, student-athletes must: have maintained a minimum 3.50 grade point average on a 4.00 scale; be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season; and have played in 50 percent of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
