Fourteen Named To CSC Academic All-District® Baseball Team

MADISON, Wis.
--Fourteen Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) individuals have been named to the 2023 NCAA Division III Academic All-District® Baseball Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators.
 
Individuals from the WIAC receiving the honor included: University of Wisconsin-La Crosse’s Tim Urlaub; UW-Oshkosh’s Zach Taylor; UW-Platteville’s Isaac Bixby, Brady Hoppert, Mitchell McLaughlin, Brandon Molldrem and Jake Schneider; UW-Stevens Point’s Tyler Beyer, Logan Homolka and Nathan Krommenakker; and UW-Stout’s Brock Burg, Alex Foss, Nolan Harke and Justin Sedin.

To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his current institution.
 
To be eligible for the Academic All-District® and Academic All-America® award, a student-athlete must carry a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, must be a starter or important reserve who has participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests at the position listed on the nomination form (where applicable) and must have completed one full calendar year at their current institution and is at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
