UW-Whitewater To Host NCAA Baseball Regional

MADISON, Wis.
--University of Wisconsin-Whitewater will host a six-team, double-elimination regional of the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship at Prucha Field at James B. Miller Stadium May 27-30.
 
The Warhawks (37-5) secured an automatic bid into the 48-team field by winning the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Baseball Championship (presented by Culver’s). UW-Whitewater, the No. 2 seed in the regional, will face No. 5 seed Luther College (Iowa) (31-14) in its opening game at 2:30 pm on May 27. The regional will also feature No. 1 seed Adrian College (Mich.) (32-7), No. 3 seed Texas Lutheran University (28-12), No. 4 seed Penn State Harrisburg (28-7) and No. 6 seed Salem State University (Mass.) (13-8).
 
UW-Whitewater is making the 23rd NCAA appearance in program history and won national titles in 2005 and 2014.
 
The winner of the Whitewater Regional will advance to the pool play double-elimination championship at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, June 4-8/9, 2021.
