Women's Indoor Track and Field 2/28/2026 10:59:14 PM UW-La Crosse Claims Sixth Straight Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championship PLATTEVILLE, Wis.--University of Wisconsin-La Crosse won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championship (presented by Culver’s) following two days of competition at Williams Fieldhouse on Feb. 28. It is the sixth straight conference title - and 32nd in program history – for the Eagles. UW-La crosse accumulated a WIAC championship record 328 points, beating the previous mark of 324 points they set at the 2023 championship. UW-Eau Claire finished second this year with 109.25 points, UW-Oshkosh third with 53, UW-Stevens Point fourth with 45, UW-Platteville fifth with 44, UW-River Falls sixth with 30.50, UW-Stout seventh with 27 and UW-Whitewater eighth with 26.25. UW-La Crosse secured five titles during day two of the championship. The 4x400-meter relay team of Anna Plautz, Zoe Lain, Macy Reybrock and Andie Otto established a conference championship record with a first-place time of 3:49.13. Anika Reiland won the 200-meter dash in 24.94 seconds, while Regan Scott claimed the 60-meter hurdles in 8.81 seconds. Maya Evans was victorious in the triple jump with a leap of 39-10 1/4 (12.15m) and Amber Grosse earned the pentathlon with 3,535 points. UW-Eau Claire’s Kayla Behnke won the 20-pound weight throw for the second straight year with a fling of 63-9 (19.43m) and Bella Hooker secured the 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.97. UW-Oshkosh’s Amelia Lehman claimed the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:51.43 and UW-Platteville’s Isabel Peterson posted a first-place finish in the 60-meter dash in 7.47 seconds. UW-River Falls’ Annika Gunderson received the Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete Award. An All-Sportsmanship Team was announced for individuals that displayed exemplary sportsmanship throughout the season. It included one member from each team as selected by that team.
