Divers Participate In NCAA Regional

KALAMAZOO, Mich.--Eight Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) divers participated in the NCAA Division III Central Regional at Kalamazoo College Natatorium Feb. 27-28.
 
The conference was represented by the following women: University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Isabella Josephs; and UW-La Crosse’s Madison Debernardo, Emma Lieb, Hannah Martini and Abbey Thornton.
 
In the one-meter competition, Martini finished 10th with a score of 380.15, Thornton 16th with 369.35, Emma Lieb 25th with 348.25, Debernardo 29th with 323.60 and Josephs 30th with 322.00. On the three-meter board, Martini was ninth with a score of 415.55, Lieb 15th with 373.85, Thornton 20th with 355.10, Debernardo 22nd with 352.60 and Josephs 27th with 328.45.
 
WIAC representatives for the men included: UW-Eau Claire’s Tait Johnson; and UW-Stevens Point’s James Stadler and Declan Trant.
 
In the three-meter event, Trant placed eighth with a score of 429.00, Stadler 16th with 387.60 and Johnson 22nd with 343.40. In the one-meter competition, Trant finished seventh with a score of 412.75, Stadler 20th with 356.95 and Johnson 22nd with 321.30.
