Men's Cross Country 2/15/2026 8:59:05 PM UW-La Crosse Tabbed Men’s Scholar Team of the Year by USTFCCCA; 25 From WIAC Claim All-Academic Distinction Official USTFCCCA Release NEW ORLEANS--University of Wisconsin-La Crosse has been named the NCAA Division III Men’s Cross Country Scholar Team of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2025 season. In addition, 25 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) individuals received All-Academic distinction. UW-La Crosse secured the team award by posting a 3.55 grade point average and winning the 2025 NCAA Division III Championship. Also receiving a team honor from the WIAC were: UW-Eau Claire (3.19), UW-Oshkosh (3.28), UW-Platteville (3.26), UW-River Falls (3.27), UW-Stevens Point (3.52), UW-Stout (3.27) and UW-Whitewater (3.59). In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers. Among the 25 conference individuals securing All-Academic distinction were: UW-Eau Claire’s Cooper Feltz; UW-La Crosse’s Mason Brown, Nico Castellanos, Owen Clark, Aidan Matthai, Grant Matthai, Chuck Vater; UW-Oshkosh’s Cameron Cullen and Paul Proteau; UW-Platteville’s Caden Schneider, Max Sporaa, Zach Sporaa, Joshua Stone and Max Voss; UW-Stevens Point’s Mateo Alvarado Venegas, Mike Brown, Sean Heetland, Martin Kimmel and Logan Murphy; UW-Stout’s Julian Van Antwerp; and UW-Whitewater’s Dan Anderson, Keegan Bratt, Tucker Johnson, Brandon Massman and Alex Metko. In order to qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet. # # # # #
