John Gaynor Women's Indoor Track and Field 3/1/2025 11:06:35 PM UW-La Crosse Wins Fifth Consecutive Women’s Indoor Track & Field Title STEVENS POINT, Wis.--University of Wisconsin-La Crosse won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championship (presented by Culver’s) for the fifth consecutive season following two days of competition at Skyward Fieldhouse on March 1. The Eagles captured the 31st championship in program history after accumulating 287.50 points. UW-Eau Claire finished second with 106.50 points, UW-Stout third with 73, UW-Oshkosh fourth with 66, UW-Whitewater fifth with 58, UW-Platteville sixth with 36.50, UW-River Falls seventh with 21, and UW-Stevens Point eighth with 14.50. UW-La Crosse won six events during the second day of events. Lauren Jarrett secured her second straight 60-meter dash crown with a conference championship record time of 7.43 seconds. She established another WIAC mark enroute to winning the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.34 seconds. Samantha Barrett successfully defended her title in the triple jump with a leap of 39-6 3/4 (12.06m), while Alli Thomas claimed the 800-meter run in 2:14.97 and Madelynn McIntyre secured the 3,000-meter run in 9:58.00. The Eagles’ Anna Plautz, Andie Otto, Macy Reybrock and Morgan Jennings produced a conference championship record time of 3:49.31 in their first-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay. UW-Oshkosh’s Megan Hunt won her second straight title in the pentathlon with 3,596 points, while UW-Eau Claire’s Kayla Behnke was victorious in the 20-pound weight throw with a toss of 61-10 1/2 (18.86m). UW-Oshkosh’s Brenna Masloroff received the Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete Award. An All-Sportsmanship Team was announced for individuals that displayed exemplary sportsmanship throughout the season. It included one member from each school.
