Official D3hoops.com Release

MADISON, Wis.
--University of Wisconsin-Whitewater’s Kacie Carollo was selected the Player of the Year to lead the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) selections on the D3hoops.com All-Region 9 Team. In addition, UW-Oshkosh’s Paige Seckar was tabbed the Co-Rookie of the Year, while Titans head coach Brad Fischer claimed Coach of the Year recognition.

Carollo secured first team accolades for the third straight season. The 2025 WIAC Kwik Trip Player of the Year, Carollo tallied 635 points this season – a total that ranks fifth in NCAA Division III. She also ranks among the top two in NCAA Division III in assists, field goals, free throws, points per game, rebounds and three-pointers. Over the course of the 2024-25 campaign, Carollo broke the conference record for three-pointers made. She also broke the UW-Whitewater program record for career rebounds, career double-doubles, points in a season, season scoring average and three-pointers made in a season.

UW-Stout’s Raegan Sorensen joined Carollo on the first team. Sorensen was a first team selection last year after claiming third team honors in 2023. She ranks second all-time in UW-Stout history with 1,725 points and is just 14 points away from breaking the program's all-time career scoring record. Sorensen currently holds the school record for career points per game at 16.1 and averaged 17.9 points per contest this season. She also leads the WIAC with a 55.1 field goal percentage. Sorensen ranks fifth all-time in career rebounds for UW-Stout with 729 and averaged 6.3 rebounds per game this season.

UW-Oshkosh’s Kayce Vaile and UW-Stevens Point’s Alexa Thomson were second team selections, while UW-La Crosse’s Lauryn Milne and UW-Stout’s Anna Mutch claimed third team status. Vaile was a third team pick a year ago.

Seckar, the 2025 WIAC Kwik Trip Newcomer of the Year, averaged 5.9 points and 3.9 rebounds per game across all 27 of UW-Oshkosh's regular-season contests. She reached double-digit scoring five times, including a season-high 19 points against UW-La Crosse on Jan. 18. Seckar also recorded a season-best 11 rebounds in the victory. She shared the region award with Erin Knowles of Cornell College (Iowa).

Fischer claimed the coaching distinction for the third time in his career (2014, 2021). He has directed the Titans to a 27-4 record and the first Final Four appearance since 1996. UW-Oshkosh won the WIAC regular-season championship for the second straight year and 16th time in program history.
