Student-Athlete Spotlight: Brookelyn Klepfer, UW-Whitewater

Why did you choose UW-Whitewater?
I chose UW-Whitewater because of its outstanding business school and the welcoming atmosphere on campus. I instantly fell in love with the campus. It's beautiful, easy to navigate, and everything you need is within walking distance.

What do you like most about competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and being a NCAA Division III student-athlete?
Competing in the WIAC pushes me to perform at my best, both in the pool and in the classroom. Everyone in the WIAC works so hard and pushes themselves to do their best, but there is also so much respect and community across all teams.

Do you have any words of advice for younger/upcoming student-athletes?
My advice for younger student athletes is to enjoy every moment and never take the experience for granted. Stay dedicated, work hard, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. You'll be amazed at how much you can grow both as an athlete and as a person. Most importantly, always remember why you started and keep having fun with it.
