UW-La Crosse Completes NCAA Women’s Swimming & Diving Championship Action

INDIANAPOLIS--Four relay teams from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse have completed action at the NCAA Division III Women’s Swimming & Diving Championship held at the IU Natatorium March 18-21.
 
The Eagles' 400-yard freestyle relay of Ava Pulvermacher, Greta Wiskus, Shefali Ramakrishnan and Zoey Rank placed 24th with a time of 3:31.60. The same foursome was 23rd in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:44.86. 
 
Ellie Brown, Rank, Pulvermacher and Wiskus finished 18th in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:34.16, while Ramakrishnan, Rank, Pulvermacher and Wiskus were 21st in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:53.54. 
 
New York University won its first national title with 517 points to surpass the second-place total of 433.50 points by Emory University (Ga.). Kenyon College (Ohio) took third with 380 points, Denison University (Ohio) fourth with 304 and Williams College (Mass.) fifth with 282.50. A total of 44 teams earned points at the national event that was hosted by Indiana University Indianapolis.
