Name: Emma Vogen Institution: UW-Eau Claire Hometown and High School: Apple Valley, Minn. (Eastview High School) Year in school: Junior Sport: Women’s Swim and Dive Major: Rehabilitation Science Pre-Med Certificates: German Language Certificate Why did you choose UW-Eau Claire? I chose UW-Eau Claire because the team made it feel like home. I could see myself learning and growing on this campus. It’s also a good distance from home so I can focus on school but go home when I needed to. What other clubs/organizations on campus are you involved in? I am involved in SAAC What do you like most about competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and being a NCAA Division III student-athlete? I enjoy being able to compete and focus on my studies. There is a good balance for Division III athletics and school, and I enjoy the structure it brings to my day. I also like competing against people I grew up competing against and getting to compete against new athletes and forming connections and friendships. What is your favorite… Menu item from Culver’s? Just buckle down and get through it you got this. One word that describes you? Hard working What is your dream job?
