UW-La Crosse and UW-Stevens Point Earn United Soccer Coaches Team Ethics & Sportsmanship Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo.--University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and UW-Stevens Point have earned the Team Ethics & Sportsmanship Award from the United Soccer Coaches for the 2024 season.
 
UW-La Crosse secured the bronze award, while UW-Stevens Point received the silver award. The silver award is presented to teams that accumulate a percentage of cards ranging from 11-30%, while the bronze award is given to teams that accumulate a percentage of cards ranging from 31-50%. The awards recognize teams that exhibit fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game, as reflected by the number of yellow caution cards or red ejection cards they are shown by referees throughout the season based on the number of cards accumulated divided by the number of games played.
