(San Clemente) WOMEN’S GYMNASTICS Specialist Reanna McGibboney, Sophomore (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East), of UW-Oshkosh McGibboney recorded a score of at least 9.650 on all three events she competed in during the Titans’ triangular win over UW-La Crosse and UW-Stout on Feb. 29, at Kolf Sports Center. She recorded 9.650-point finishes in the vault and uneven bars to start the meet and capped it off with 9.750 points in the floor exercise. (Pine Island) All-Around Emily Buffington, Senior (Huntersville, N.C./Lake Norman Charter), of UW-Oshkosh Buffington scored 38.150 all-around points on Feb. 29, in the Titans’ triangular win over UW-La Crosse and UW-Stout at the Kolf Sports Center. She registered 9.725 on both the uneven bars and floor exercise, scored a 9.450 on the vault and totaled 9.250 points on the balance beam. The Titans scored 193.225 points in the victory. (Park) SOFTBALL Position Claire Beck, Junior (Jefferson, Wis./Jefferson), Firstbase/Designated Player of UW-Eau Claire Beck posted a .571 batting average and drove in eight runs — including a walk-off winner — across four games at the Millikin University (Ill.) Tournament held March 2-3. She propelled the Blugolds to a 9-8 win over Hanover College (Ill.) on March 3 by hitting a two-RBI, walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth inning to cap her day. She went 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI against the Panthers. Beck went 8-for-14 at the plate overall with three multi-hit games. She threw seven innings against the Duhawks on March 2, striking out eight batters, while allowing just three hits and a walk. Her second appearance came against the Eagles, where she threw all five innings with six strikeouts, one hit and a walk.
