(Blaine) WOMEN’S LACROSSE Offense Charlotte Iler, Junior (Simsbury, Conn./Deerfield Academy), Attack of Colorado College Iler set single-game program records with nine assists and 13 points in Colorado College’s 22-2 victory over UW-Eau Claire on April 25. With the victory, the Tigers secured the outright WIAC regular-season title and the No. 1 seed for the conference tournament with a perfect 8-0 league record. Iler broke the previous records of 11 points in one game, set by Bridget Hanley in 2021 and Kendall Havill in 2024, and eight assists, set by Steph Kelly in 2016 and equaled by Hanley in 2021. (Glenbard North) Pitcher Grace Nardi, Sophomore (Marquette, Mich./Negaunee), Pitcher of UW-Oshkosh Nardi pitched the 15th no-hitter in program history on April 26 to wrap up a 3-0 week in the circle in four starts. Across 28 innings of work, Nardi allowed two runs and struck out 22 batters against 17 hits and 12 walks. Nardi opened her week with a four-inning start against UW-Whitewater on April 21, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk against four strikeouts. She then earned a complete game win over Marian University (Wis.) on April 22 with a week-high nine strikeouts before pitching 10 innings of no-decision work with six strikeouts during the Titans’ 13-inning victory over UW-Stout at home on April 25. Nardi increased her season record to 8-1 and lowered her ERA to 1.55 with seven innings of no-hit pitching against UW-River Falls, fanning four Falcons while allowing just four baserunners. He defeated Will Seymour in straight sets (7-5, 6-4) at No. 4 singles to give the Warhawks the 4-3 win over the No. 30-ranked Hornets. (Eau Claire Memorial) & Pablo Rincon, Junior, Bogotá, Colombia MEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD Track Luke Schroeder, Senior (Green Bay, Wis./Ashwaubenon), of UW-La Crosse At the University of Minnesota Gary Wilson Invitational, Schroeder finished third overall in the 200-meter dash with a time of 20.78 seconds. He was the top non-NCAA I finisher in the 200-meter dash and the third fastest time in NCAA Division III so far this season. Then in the prelims at the Drake Relays, Schroeder broke an NCAA Division III record in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 13.58 seconds. He followed that up with a time of 13.68 seconds in the finals to finish first in the hurdles. In the discus, he placed third overall with a throw of 167-5 (51.03m). The throw is third in the WIAC and 14th in NCAA Division III. In the championships division at the Drake Relays, Stankiewicz took third overall in the shot put with his final throw of 65-3 1/4 (18.37m) that currently ranks first in the WIAC and third in NCAA Division III. (Wisconsin Lutheran) WOMEN’S OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD Track Izzy Peterson, Senior (Lexington, Ky./Roosevelt), of UW-Platteville Peterson competed in the 100-meter dash and 4x100-meter relay at the Drake Relays. In the trials of the University/College 100-meter dash, she broke her own school record in a time of 11.68 seconds. That effort qualified her for finals as the fifth fastest time. In the finals, she finished sixth in a time of 11.79 seconds. Her time in the trials currently ranks first in the WIAC and sixth in NCAA Division III. Peterson also helped the 4x100-meter relay qualify for finals at the Drake Relays for the first time in school history. Her mark of 13-4 1/2 set a school record, breaking her own record of 13-2. Habberstad's mark of 13-4 1/2 ranks first on the NCAA Division III Honor Roll.
