(Naperville Central High School) Year in school: Senior Sport: Women’s Swimming & Diving Major: Sociology Minors: Human Resources Management and Coaching Why did you choose UW-Oshkosh? I chose UW-Oshkosh because of its strong academic services, which offer comprehensive support to their students. What other clubs/organizations on campus are you involved in? UWO Society for Human Resource Management, Sociology Club, SAAC, Special Olympics Wisconsin (Coach) What do you like most about competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and being a NCAA Division III student-athlete? I love swimming at the Division III level because I can do the sport I love without the stress of competing for a scholarship or a spot on the conference team. Who is someone that you look up to? My parents. Do you have any words of advice for younger/upcoming student-athletes? Don’t take your sport too seriously, always keep in mind why you chose to compete in college in the first place. Focus on the joy and passion that brought you here. One word that describes you? Bubbly. What is your dream job? Human resources business partner. Three things on your "bucket list"? ---Sky Diving. ---Complete an Iron Man. ---Watch the Olympics in person. A non-athletic talent that you have is? The worm. Do you have any pre-game/pre-event superstitions or rituals? If so, what are they? Before I race, I have a superstition where I say, "Let's rock and roll," and do the rock-on hand gesture, while standing on the blocks. # # # # #
