UW-La Crosse's Steien and UW-Eau Claire's Dahlk Named WIAC Kwik Trip Women's Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Week

MADISON, Wis.--University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's Lauren Steien and UW-Eau Claire's Sarah Dahlk have been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Women's Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Week for the week of Jan. 16 - 22.

Steien (So., Taylor, Wis./Blair-Taylor) won three individual titles and was a member of a first-place relay in UW-La Crosse's dual victory over UW-Oshkosh on Jan. 21. She captured the 100-yard butterfly (59.86 seconds), 200-yard individual medley (2:15.13) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:31.72). Steien was also on the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:50.67).

Dahlk (Sr., Verona, Wis./Middleton) won the three-meter competition at the UW-Stevens Point Invitational on Jan. 20. She secured another NCAA zone cut with a score of 419.05 and finished nearly 25 points ahead of the next diver.
