UW-Stevens Point's Miller and UW-Eau Claire's Kabe Named WIAC Kwik Trip Men's Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Week

MADISON, Wis.--University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's Owen Miller and UW-Eau Claire's Quincy Kabe have been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Men's Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Week for the week of Nov. 29 - Dec. 5.

Miller (Fr., Mequon, Wis./Mequon) clocked a pair of NCAA Consideration times in helping UW-Stevens Point dominate the six-team Wheaton College (Ill.) Invitational held Dec. 3-4. His first NCAA consideration time was 20.38 seconds to win the 50-yard freestyle. He also swam the final leg of the 200-yard medley relay that clocked an NCAA consideration time of 1:30.41. He won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 46.35 seconds. He also swam the final leg of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:23.69 and was the fourth leg of the victorious 400-yard medley relay that posted a time of 3:23.11. Miller’s other win came as the final leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay that touched at 3:05.41.
 
Kabe (So., Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo) had zone qualifying scores on both the one-meter and three-meter at the Rochester (Minn.) Invitational held Dec. 3-5. He won the three-meter board against Division I and Division II divers with a score of 484.00. Kabe finished second on the one-meter plank.
