UW-La Crosse's Seebach and UW-Oshkosh's Thibert Named WIAC Kwik Trip Women's Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Week

MADISON, Wis.--University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's Autumn Seebach and UW-Oshkosh's Ella Thibert have been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Women's Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 25 - 31.

Seebach (Fr., Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) won five individual titles in a pair of events to open the season. She captured the 100-yard backstroke (59.96), 200-yard freestyle (2:03.05) and 200-yard individual medley (2:18.69) in UW-La Crosse's dual victory over Luther College (Iowa) on Oct. 29. Seebach was also on the Eagles' winning 200-yard medley relay (1:54.74). She then won the 100-yard backstroke (59.60) and 200-yard backstroke (2:11.81) at the Cows, Colleges and Contentment Classic at St. Olaf College (Minn.) on Oct. 30. Seebach was also third in the 500-yard freestyle (5:38.40) and was on UW-La Crosse’s sixth-place 200-yard medley relay (1:57.44).
 
Thibert (So., Howard, Wis./Bay Port) won both diving events as UW-Oshkosh defeated visiting Carroll University (Wis.), 119-109, on Oct. 30. Thibert earned her two wins by totaling 184.27 points off the one-meter board and 192.60 off the three-meter plank. She defeated a pair of teammates in each category. UW-Oshkosh totaled 23 top-four finishes in the meet.
