Four Programs Receive IWLCA Team Academic Award; 35 Claim Individual Honors

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass.
--Four Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) women’s lacrosse programs have been named an Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) NCAA Division III Academic Honor Team for the 2025-26 academic year, while 35 conference student-athletes claimed Academic Honor Roll distinction.
 
College of Saint Benedict (Minn.), Colorado College, University of Wisconsin-River Falls and UW-Stout Polytechnic secured the honor by posting a 3.2 or higher team grade point average for the academic year.
 
Individuals from the WIAC receiving recognition included: UW-Eau Claire’s Ellie Fisher, Paige Kiani and Jessica Stiller; UW-River Falls’ Elizabeth Clough, Lilah Gilyard, Brooke Glumack, Abby Hammond, Julia Hayek, Samantha Hayek, Cassie Johnson, Eleanor Thompson-Witt and Avery Watzke; UW-Stout’s Briana Brenteson, Madeline Candline, Luci Fitzgerald, Madelyn Nuttall, Megan Palmer, Brinley Tonn and Mai Nou Vang; Augsburg University’s Sydney Bainville and Annie Fest; College of Saint Benedict’s Teressa Cavanaugh, Grace Fitzgibbons and Samantha Hackley; and Colorado College’s Grace Bean, Meghan Collins, Frances Hansot, Charlotte Iler, Oliv Janerico, Alyssa Kawala, Kathryn Mahoney, Sofia Mancino, Meilani Molina, Amanda Roan and Ella Roe.
 
To be eligible for the individual award, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or greater.
