Women's Lacrosse 5/3/2026 5:36:36 PM Colorado College Wins Women’s Lacrosse Tournament **Colorado College Sports Information contributed to this recap RIVER FALLS, Wis.--Colorado College won the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women’s Lacrosse Tournament (presented by Culver’s) with a 22-8 victory over UW-River Falls at Ramer Field on May 3. It is the third straight WIAC tournament title for Colorado College (15-3) and it collected the conference’s first-ever automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women’s Lacrosse Championship. The Tigers will make their 14th postseason appearance. Against UW-River Falls (15-4), Charlotte Iler, Oliv Janerico and Maddie Jenks led the way for the Tigers as they recorded their 11th straight victory. Iler scored a game-high four goals, while Janerico scored twice and added four assists to lead all players with six points and Jenks had three goals and two assists for five points. Sofia Mancino and Sofia Niklaus each had three goals and an assist. UW-River Falls' Molly Pierce scored back-to-back goals to give the Falcons 3-1 lead midway through the first period, but the Tigers rallied to score the next five, including a pair from Meilani Molina, to take a 6-3 lead after 15 minutes. Colorado College kept the momentum from that run the rest of the contest, outscoring UW-River Falls, 16-5, in the final three periods. Tigers goalie Cassidy Schnaufer made seven saves and Grace Beam caused a team-high four turnovers. Sophie Mineroff and Amanda Roan led Colorado College with three ground balls apiece. Colorado College held a 19-13 advantage in draw controls, with Molina leading the way with a game-high five, followed by Mancino and Jenks with four each.
