UW-Whitewater’s Billson To Participate In NCAA Men’s Tennis Individual Championship

INDIANAPOLIS--University of Wisconsin-Whitewater’s Theo Billson has been selected as a singles qualifier for the NCAA Division III Individual Championship.

He ranks 46th in the most recent ITA rankings and was selected as one of 32 individuals in the singles bracket. The selection of individuals for the championships is based on won-lost record, strength of schedule, and eligibility and availability of student-athletes.

This marks the second consecutive year that Billson has reached the national stage. In 2025, the then-sophomore & doubles partner Reuben Giorgio were selected as a doubles team. The pair fell in a close tiebreaker to the No. 5-ranked doubles pair from Swarthmore College (Pa.).

The individual championship will begin on May 23 in Chattanooga, Tenn., hosted by the University of the South (Tenn.) and Chattanooga, Tenn.
