General 4/3/2026 10:50:22 AM Six Institutions Ranked In Top 45 of Learfield Directors’ Cup Standings Official NACDA Release CLEVELAND--Six Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) institutions are ranked in the Top 45 of the 2025-26 Learfield Directors’ Cup NCAA Division III winter standings. University of Wisconsin-La Crosse leads the conference entries in the standings, ranking sixth with 699.50 points, while UW-Eau Claire is 22nd with 399, UW-Whitewater 30th with 343, UW-Oshkosh 35th with 315.50, UW-River Falls 38th with 282.75 and UW-Platteville 45th with 237.50. Additional WIAC institutions in the standings include UW-Stevens Point in 67th with 180.50 points and UW-Stout 86th with 146. During the 2025-26 winter season, UW-River Falls won the NCAA Division III women’s ice hockey championship, while UW-Oshkosh claimed the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association title. New York University (N.Y.) tops the standings with 812.25 points, while Williams college (Mass.) is second with 811, Washington University in St. Louis (Mo.) third with 787.50, Johns Hopkins University (Md.) fourth with 784 and Tufts University (Mass.) fifth with 739.75. A total of 271 institutions are represented in the winter standings. The final winter standings will be updated after the NCAA Division III men's basketball championship game on April 5 between Emory University (Ga.) and the University of Mary Washington (Va.). The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA championships. # # # # #
