Twenty-Five Secure CSC Academic All-District® Women’s Basketball Honors

MADISON, Wis.--Twenty-five Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) individuals have been named to the 2025-26 NCAA Division III Academic All-District® Women’s Basketball Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators.
 
Individuals from the WIAC receiving the honor included:  University of Wisconsin-La Crosse’s Molly Janke, Grace Knupp, Malia Nelson and Katie Waukau; UW-Oshkosh’s Sammie Beyer, Kate Huml, Avery Poole and Paige Seckar; UW-Platteville’s Ava Hanson, Madalyn Reichmann, Alexis Strom and Ashley Weir; UW-River Falls’ Braelyn Beiler, Olivia Boily and Zoey Buchan; UW-Stevens Point’s Laney Panich, Maija Rice and Karissa Smith; UW-Stout’s Mary Berg, Grace Schisel, Rosella Wille and Maraya Wiltrout; and UW-Whitewater’s Bri McCurdy, Renee Rittmeyer and Ashley Schlabowske.
 
To be eligible for the Academic All-District® and Academic All-America® award, a student-athlete must carry a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games/contests, and is at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
