WIAC Men’s Teams and Individuals Claim ITA Academic Accolades

TEMPE, Ariz.
--Four Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) men’s tennis programs have earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team honors for the 2024-25 academic year, while 36 WIAC individuals were identified as ITA Scholar Athletes.
 
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, UW-Whitewater and The College of New Jersey teams secured the distinction by having a team grade point average of 3.20 or above.
 
Conference individuals securing the honor included: UW-Eau Claire’s Ethan Lee, Ethan Leeser Andrew Muller, Samuel Murillo, Pablo Rincon, Otto Schluter, Jose Felipe Trejo and Ethan Wurtzel; UW-La Crosse’s Jack Hehli, Luke Hinchcliffe, Joseph O’Flaherty and Tyler Schneider; UW-Stevens Point’s Steven Benoy, Dawson Froemming, Anthony Janes, Alexander Sedlacek, Ben Temple and Brady Wierzbicki; UW-Whitewater’s Payton Adkisson, Theo Billson, Yash Chhabra, Andrew Dumbauld, Reuben Giorgio, Gavin Kelleher, Chase Lindwall, Daniel Moeller, Parker Sprague and Will Ulrich; and The College of New Jersey’s Sidd Arudi, Max Loia, Harrison Maitland-Carter, Max Nussbaum, Brett Schuster, Alberto Thomas, Aidan Twamley and Asa Wong.
 
To be named an ITA Scholar Athlete, student-athletes must have a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
