UW-La Crosse’s Jarrett Named USTFCCCA Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year

--University of Wisconsin-La Crosse’s Lauren Jarrett has been named the NCAA Division III Women’s Track Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2025 outdoor season.
 
Jarrett dazzled at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship, winning the 100- and 200-meter dash, and toting the baton on the winning 4×100-meter relay that set a NCAA Division III record of 45.20 seconds. She equaled the meet record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.44 seconds and moved up to No. 2 on the NCAA Division III all-time chart. Earlier in the season, Jarrett took down the NCAA Division III record in the 100-meter dash with her 11.23 seconds winning effort at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif.
