Name: Reegan Werner Institution: UW-Eau Claire Hometown (High School): Farmington, Minn. (Farmington High School) Year in school: Junior Sport: Women's Lacrosse Major: Biology Minor: Public Health Why did you choose UW-Eau Claire? I picked UW-Eau Claire because it is the perfect distance from my hometown for my family to come to my games and to go home in the off season. I also loved the campus and the idea of the lacrosse team being a new and developing team where I can make a name for Eau Claire's program to bring others into the game in this area. What other clubs/organizations on campus are you involved in? Women in STEM. What do you like most about competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and being a NCAA Division III student-athlete? I am so happy to be able to compete in the WIAC! My first year here there were not enough teams to build a conference and now I am so grateful to be able to get a chance to make it to the tournament and represent UW-Eau Claire. I like playing Division III athletics because it still has a very high competition level with still being able to prioritize academics. What is your favorite… Menu item from Culver’s?
