SALEM, Va.
--University of Wisconsin-Platteville’s Logan Pearson has been named as one of 10 finalists for the 2025 Jostens Trophy award.

The Jostens Trophy is a national award created by the Rotary Club of Salem, Va., and sponsored by Jostens, Inc., to recognize the most outstanding men's and women's Division III basketball players of the year. The two awards – one for men's basketball and one for women's basketball – focus on basketball ability, academic prowess, and service to one's surrounding community. The 2025 season marks the 27th time the Jostens Trophy will be awarded.

Pearson wrapped up the 2024-25 season with a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC)-leading 19.8 points per game across his 29 starts. He was named WIAC Kwik Trip Player of the Year for the second straight season and garnered attention on both the Trevor Hudgins and Bevo Francis Watch Lists. Pearson posted shooting splits of 51.0/37.2/82.9 and broke the UW-Platteville all-time scoring record, finishing with 2,112 career points. He became one of just eight players in WIAC history to surpass the 2,000 career points mark and holds Pioneers program records in career field goals made (763) and consecutive games started (108).
