WIAC Announces Partnership with World Sports Travel

MADISON, Wis.--The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) is proud to announce a partnership with World Sports Travel, which will serve as the title sponsor for the conference’s Scholastic Honor Roll and All-Academic Awards.

The collaboration underscores both organizations’ shared commitment to excellence in academics and athletics, celebrating the outstanding student-athletes who exemplify success in the classroom and in competition.

“The WIAC is thrilled to welcome World Sports Travel as a partner in recognizing academic achievements of our student-athletes,” said WIAC Commissioner Danielle Harris. “Their support reinforces the conference’s long-standing emphasis on the balance between education and athletics and the importance of developing well-rounded leaders.”

The World Sports Travel WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher, while the World Sports Travel WIAC All-Academic Awards honor those institutions in which the grade point average for its student-athletes is equal to, or greater than, the grade point average of the overall student body.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the WIAC and to support some of the nation’s most well respected Division III programs, said World Sports Travel CEO Sallie Gordon. “The conference’s tradition of athletic and academic excellence aligns perfectly with our mission to create unforgettable experiences that combine competition, culture, and connection.”

World Sports Travel provides international tours and in-season events for collegiate athletic programs across the country, helping institutions deliver first-class experiences for their student-athletes and staff.

Through this partnership, World Sports Travel will play a key role in highlighting the academic accomplishments of more than 5,000 WIAC student-athletes each year, while aligning its brand with one of the nation’s most respected Division III conferences.
