Football 1/7/2025 3:03:25 PM Fifty-Four Claim CSC Academic All-District® Football Honors Official CSC Release MADISON, Wis.--Fifty-four Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) individuals have been named to the 2024 NCAA Division III Academic All-District® Football Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators. Individuals from the WIAC receiving the honor included: University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Lucas Barby, Harry Roubidoux, Ben Teigland and Jake Thompson; UW-La Crosse’s Tyler Bowman, Nicholas Jorndt, Trent Mullen, Tanner Newlin, Bodie Schanhofer, Aaron Schmitz, Michael Stack and Cole Walter; UW-Oshkosh’s Dan Fynaardt, Chad Gerig, Jon Mathieu, JoJo Nathaniel, John Schirger, Clayton Schwalbe, Jake Shutter and Casey Webber; UW-Platteville’s Jaxson Garbisch, Harrison Meyer, Cormac Sammons, Will Straka, Trevor Syse, Benjamin Younker and Joshua Zitzer; UW-River Falls’ Aaron Borgerding, Conrad Gingg, Adam Johnstone, Braden Jones, Michael Krueger and Luke Kush; UW-Stevens Point’s Gavin Adams, Joe Berens, Grant Kirsch, Zachary Kriegel, Tanner Mrotek and Zander Popp; UW-Stout’s Zach Dewhurst, Cooper Diedrich, David Finkel, Carter Fonger, Tucker Haakonson, Luke Parzyck, Drew Schneider and Caleb Timm; and UW-Whitewater’s Matt Burba, Ethan Gallagher, Blake Haggerty, Karsten Libby, Noah Moris, Tyler Vasey and Nick Wind. To be eligible for the Academic All-District® and Academic All-America® award, a student-athlete must carry a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. # # # # #
