(Stockton High School) Year in school: Senior Sport: Women’s Basketball Major: Criminal Justice with a Law Enforcement emphasis Minors: Forensic Investigation; Pre-Law Certificate Why did you choose UW-Platteville? Nationally, UW-Platteville has one of the best criminal justice and forensic investigation programs in the nation so there was no doubt that I was going to further my education here. Along with that, the basketball team, my senior year of high school, was very welcoming and made it feel like home during my visits. What other clubs/organizations on campus are you involved in? National Honor Society of Leadership and Success Criminal Justice Association PSAAC What causes do you care about? I care largely about mental health and mental health should be a top priority. Having stable mental health plays a vital role in your life because that’s how you function every day. With that instability, you will be unable to obtain goals, be productive, and have an imbalance with your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. What do you like most about competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and being a NCAA Division III student-athlete? Being a student-athlete is a blessing in disguise because it doesn’t feel like a job. Playing DIII basketball, you are doing it because you love the game not because you’re getting paid to do it. Competing in the WIAC is a great experience because I am competing in one of the best conferences in DIII women’s basketball. What is your favorite… Menu item from Culver’s?
