2026 WIAC Men’s Swimming & Diving Championship Preview University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will strive for a third straight first-place finish at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Men’s Swimming & Diving Championship (presented by Culver’s) that will be held at Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer, Wis., Feb. 18-21. UW-Whitewater is the host institution for the 63rd gathering of the men’s teams that will be held in conjunction with the 54th edition of the women’s championship. Competition begins on Feb. 18 at 1:45 p.m., with the preliminaries of the men’s three-meter diving. The finals will start at 6:30 p.m., and include a pair of relay events. For competition held Feb. 19 and Feb. 20, preliminaries will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the finals commencing at 6:30 p.m. The final day will feature 10:00 a.m. preliminaries and a 5:45 p.m. start for the finals. Medals will be awarded to the top-eight finishers in each of the individual events and the individuals comprising the top-three relay teams. In 2025, the Blugolds captured the 27th WIAC championship in program archives - after compiling 848.50 points during the four-day event. UW-La Crosse placed second with 752 points, UW-Stevens Point third with 710, UW-Whitewater fourth with 487.50 and UW-Oshkosh fifth with 282. UW-Stevens Point owns with 26 titles, while UW-La Crosse has four. Former programs UW-Platteville and UW-Milwaukee claimed one and four championships, respectively. Returning champions in individual events include: UW-Eau Claire’s Drew Testin (2025/200-yard freestyle) and Zhander Rowley (2024 & 2025/100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard breaststroke); UW-La Crosse’s Jacob Ketterling (2024/100-yard butterfly); UW-Stevens Point’s Scott Jenn (2025/100-yard backstroke) and Declan Trant (2025/one-meter diving); and UW-Whitewater’s Dom Schlueter (2023/100-yard freestyle, 2024/200-yard freestyle). Trant was named the Co-Diver of the Meet at last year’s championship. Individuals that have claimed first-place relay medals at previous championships include: UW-Eau Claire’s Drew Testin (2025/800-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard medley relay); UW-La Crosse’s Jonah Elfers (2025/200-yard medley relay), Jesse Hammes (2025/200-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard freestyle relay and 200-yard medley relay), Tyler Hartmann (2024 & 2025/200-yard freestyle relay, 2025/400-yard freestyle relay and 200-yard medley relay) and Jacob Ketterling (2024/400-yard freestyle relay); and UW-Stevens Point’s Camden Barwick (2024/200-yard medley relay). UW-Oshkosh has received strong performances from Leo Ramirez-Gutierrez and Damen Seremet this season. # # # # #
