2025 WIAC Women's Golf Championship Preview The 30th version of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women’s Golf Championship (presented by Culver’s) will be held at Reedsburg Country Club in Reedsburg, Wis., Oct. 3-5. The championship will feature 54 holes and commence with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. on Oct. 3, while tee times off both sets of tees will begin at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 4-5. The winning team will receive an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Championship that will be held May 19-22, 2026, at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, Calif. University of Wisconsin-Whitewater will aim for a ninth straight first-place finish and owns a conference-best 10 team titles, while UW-Eau Claire has nine, UW-Oshkosh four, and UW-Stevens Point and UW-Stout three each. In last year’s championship, UW-Whitewater finished with 958 strokes to surpass the second-place total of 967 strokes by UW-Stout. UW-La Crosse placed third with 976 strokes, UW-Oshkosh fourth with 989, UW-Platteville fifth with 1,014, UW-Eau Claire sixth with 1,020, UW-River Falls seventh with 1,039, and UW-Stevens Point eighth with 1,065. Returning All-WIAC selections from last season include: UW-La Crosse’s Haley Thoeny (Second Team); UW-Oshkosh’s Taryn Endres (Second Team); UW-Stout’s Julia Imai (First Team/Kwik Trip Player of the Year/Kwik Trip Newcomer of the Year) and Brin Neumann (Second Team); and UW-Whitewater’s Payton Schmidt (Second Team). Thoeny was also a second team selection – and Kwik Trip Newcomer of the Year – in 2023-24. She was joined on the second team teammate Allison Balduzzi. UW-Whitewater’s Abbie Reiser received Kwik Trip Newcomer of the Year distinction during the 2022-23 campaign. Leading scorers for each team this fall include: UW-Eau Claire’s Tally Schlinderwein (80.3); UW-La Crosse’s Thoeny (79.3); UW-Oshkosh’s Endres (81.0); UW-Platteville’s Taylor Swalve (83.9); UW-River Falls’ Lauren Skov (80.0); UW-Stevens Point’s Kate Downie (79.7); UW-Stout’s Imai (74.0); and UW-Whitewater’s Schmidt (80.6). # # # # #
