Simmons hit .593 and slugged 1.444 to lead UW-Stevens Point to a 7-1 record that locked up the No. 2seed in the WIAC Tournament. He belted six home runs to move into a tie for second in school history. He also hit his 16th career triple on May 6, to tie for the all-time WIAC career lead in the category. He had multiple hits in six of the eight games during the week with 10 of his 16 hits going for extra bases. Simmons had 15 RBI and scored 13 runs over the eight games and was a perfect 2-for-2 in stolen bases. He drew eight walks on the week, including four intentional passes.

Ferry went 2-0 with two saves in his four appearances as UW-Stevens Point went 7-1 over the final week of conference play. In a tripleheader sweep of UW-Platteville on May 2, he earned the win in two of the games as UW-Stevens Point rallied from behind to take a late lead in the opener and a walk-off win in the third game of the day. Ferry had four strikeouts over 3.2 innings in the two wins. On May 6, Ferry earned the save in both games of a doubleheader sweep at UW-Oshkosh. For the week, Ferry had a 1.35 ERA and opposing hitters batted a miniscule .167 against him with five strikeouts.

Born hit .478 (9-of-23) in five starts during the week, recording a .480 on-base and 1.000 slugging percentage. He had a hit all in all five games, including three games with three hits. Born scored nine runs in the week with nine RBI and four home runs. He went 6-for-9 with three home runs, six RBI and five runs in a doubleheader sweep at UW-Stout on April 25. Born was 1-for-5 with a home run and two runs in a victory at Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) on April 27, and finished the week going 4-for-9 with two runs and two RBI in a doubleheader split with UW-Oshkosh on May 1. He had the game-winning home run in the top of the seventh in a victory over UW-Stout. Born also recorded the game-winning hit with an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh in a victory over UW-Oshkosh.

Berendt made his second start of the year against No. 15-ranked UW-Stevens Point on April 26, pitching seven innings with no walks and seven strikeouts in the No. 9-ranked Warhawks’ 9-1 victory at Miller Stadium. He scattered seven hits and allowed one run in the outing, which helped UW-Whitewater take sole possession of first place in the WIAC standings. On May 1 against UW-Stout, Berendt tossed a scoreless eighth inning to help UW-Whitewater to a 7-1 win at Miller Stadium.

Surane compiled a .500 (9-18) batting average with one home run, four doubles, eight runs scored, three runs batted in and four stolen bases as UW-Oshkosh swept home doubleheaders from both UW-Eau Claire and UW-Platteville. Surane, who had three hits in three of UW-Oshkosh’s four games, finished the week with percentages of 1.000 for slugging and .550 for on-base. Surane handled all six of his fielding opportunities without an error. Surane totaled six hits and six runs scored during UW-Oshkosh’s two wins over UW-Eau Claire on April 19. He went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one triple, three runs scored and one run batted in during a 13-3 eight-inning victory in the opener and 3-for-4 with three runs scored and four stolen bases during a 10-6 triumph in the nightcap. Surane also went 3-for-5 with two doubles, one home run, two runs batted in and two runs scored during UW-Oshkosh’s 12-2 seven-inning victory over UW-Platteville on April 24.

Brinkman permitted just one run in 11 innings to earn the win against UW-Eau Claire on April 19 and a save against UW-Platteville on April 24. Brinkman posted a 0.82 earned run average during his two appearances with five strikeouts and 11 hits allowed. During UW-Oshkosh’s 13-3 eight-inning victory over visiting UW-Eau Claire, Brinkman pitched seven innings to earn the win and raise his season record to 5-2. He scattered eight hits, while allowing one run with three strikeouts. In the Titans’ 6-4 triumph over visiting UW-Platteville, Brinkman pitched four scoreless innings to earn his second save of the season. He allowed just three hits, while striking out a pair of batters.

Surane hit .733 (11-15) with two home runs, three doubles, seven runs batted in, 12 runs scored and seven stolen bases as UW-Oshkosh swept a four-game series with visiting Finlandia University (Mich.). Surane had multiple hits in each contest, while posting percentages of 1.333 for slugging and .789 for on-base. He handled all six of his fielding opportunities without an error. In UW-Oshkosh’s 15-2 seven-inning victory over Finlandia on April 15, Surane went 3-for-4 at the plate with a home run (inside-the-park), one double, four runs batted in and three runs scored. He also went 3-for-3 with a double, four runs scored and three stolen bases during the Titans’ 16-5 seven-inning triumph over the Lions on April 15. During UW-Oshkosh’s 21-5 seven-inning victory over Finlandia on April 16, Surane went 2-for-3 with a home run, three runs scored, two runs batted in and two stolen bases. He also went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored, one run batted in and two stolen bases during the Titans’ 11-1 eight-inning win over the Lions on April 16.

Berendt appeared in four games during the week, finishing with a 2.61 earned run average, 16 strikeouts, no walks and one save in 10 1/3 innings to help the No. 11-ranked Warhawks to a 5-1 record. On April 11 at UW-Eau Claire, he pitched five innings, scattering six hits and striking out a season-high 10 batters in the performance. On April 15 and April 16 at UW-La Crosse, Berendt finished three of the Warhawks’ four games, all wins. In the first game of the April 15 doubleheader, he pitched 1 2/3 innings with three strikeouts in UW-Whitewater’s 9-5 triumph. After tossing a scoreless inning in the April 16 opener, he pitched the final 2 2/3 innings of the second game, allowing one hit while striking out three for his first save of the year.

Nelson hit .400 with 12 RBI to lead the Pointers to a 6-1 week. He blasted two home runs on the week, including a walk-off solo shot in the 13th inning of game two of the series versus UW-La Crosse. In a sweep of Finlandia University (Mich.) on April 4, he had three hits and three RBI. He belted a three-run home run among three hits at Concordia University (Wis.) on April 5. In the weekend series against UW-La Crosse, he had six hits and six RBI, including two walk-offs (a home run and a sac fly).

Pickering posted two complete-game shutouts in conference play during the week. He went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA, 10 strikeouts and just three hits allowed. On April 4, he no-hit Finlandia University (Mich.) for 8.2 innings and allowed just the single hit in the win. On April 10, he held UW-La Crosse scoreless for nine innings giving up just two hits.

Thimsen stayed hot as UW-Stout won eight conference games during the week. He hit .438 over four wins over UW-Platteville, March 28-29, and UW-Eau Claire, April 2-3. Thimsen was 14 of 32 with 15 runs scored, hitting three doubles, and two home runs for 13 RBI. Thimsen posted a slugging percentage of .719 and drew seven walks and was twice hit by a pitch to post a .561 on-base percentage. Thimsen stole three bases. He gave UW-Stout the lead for good with a with a two-run single in the eighth inning an 11-6 win over UW-Eau Claire on April 2. For the season, Thimsen is hitting .469 (30-64) with 23 runs scored, seven doubles, one triple, two home runs, 30 RBI, with a slugging percentage of .703 and on-base percentage of .565. Thimsen has stolen four bases and has a fielding percentage of .914.

Moore made history on March 29, as he threw the first complete game shutout since UW-Eau Claire reinstated baseball in 2020 and the first in his career. In his first WIAC game of the year, Moore's historic day from the rubber included 11 strikeouts and three walks. He scattered five hits from 35 UW-Oshkosh batters faced in his nine innings pitched. In his second game of the week, Moore faced UW-Stout on April 2, and pitched 6.2 innings, collected nine strikeouts, while allowing only four walks and three runs on three hits.

Olver hit .583 (seven-of-12) in three starts during the week, recording a .538 on-base and 1.000 slugging percentage. He scored six runs with five RBI, two doubles, one home run and one sacrifice fly. Olver had at least two hits and scored at least two runs in all three starts. He went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, one double and one home run against Middlebury College (Vt.) on March 21, while going 2-for-5 with two runs against Williams College (Mass.) on March 22. Olver opened the WIAC season going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI and one double, while having the game-winning RBI in a victory over Finlandia University (Mich.) on March 27.

Schmitt earned the complete-game win in UW-La Crosse's 13-0 victory over Finlandia University (Mich.) on March 27. He went 7.0 innings, allowing two hits and two walks, while striking out a career-high 17. The 17 strikeouts ranks second in single-game school history and tied for fourth in WIAC history. Schmitt struck out at least one hitter in every inning and had four innings with three strikeouts.

Szykowny batted .500, drove in 16 runs, posted a five-game home run streak and recorded his first collegiate win on the mound in UW-Stout’s final seven games of their spring break trip during the week. UW-Stout was 5-3 on the trip to improve their overall record to 5-5. Szykowny reached base safely in every game, stretching his on-base streak to all 10 games this season. In the final seven games of the spring break trip, Szykowny had multiple base hits in six games. Szykowny was 4 for 6 with three RBI against Skidmore College (N.Y.) on March 14. Also in the game, Szykowny began a consecutive streak of five games hitting a home run. Szykowny had a grand slam in the second game against Lasell University (Mass.), going 2 for 3. Szykowny was 2 for 4 against No. 4-ranked Eastern Connecticut State University, 4 for 6 against Skidmore, 1 for 5 against St. Michael’s College (Vt.), 3 for 4 in the first game against Lasell, 2 for 3 in the second game against Lasell, 2 for 5 against Eastern Connecticut and 2 for 5 against US Merchant Marine Academy. Szykowny had multiple RBI in six games. He recorded a save earlier in the week and recorded his first collegiate win, pitching 2.1 innings of scoreless ball, allowing two hits and striking out four in an 11-9 win, 10-inning win over U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. For the season, Szykowny is hitting .455 with six doubles, one triple and five home runs with 18 RBI.

Muir tossed seven shutout innings in the Warhawks’ 5-0 victory against Rhodes College (Tenn.) at Studer’s Blue Wahoos Challenge in Pensacola, Fla., on March 16. He surrendered only two hits and one walk, while striking out six in the performance to pick up his first win of the year.

Krist led the Pioneers to an opening series split against Bethel University (Minn.) on March 9. In the 7-inning doubleheaders, Krst went 5-of-6 (.833 batting average) at the plate with a double, two runs batted in, and a walk. He had an on-base percentage of .800 and slugging percentage of 1.000.

During UW-Oshkosh's 5-4 victory over Milwaukee School of Engineering on March 13, Brinkman became the first WIAC pitcher to register 16 strikeouts since former Titan and current member of the San Diego Padres organization Luke Westphal accomplished the feat at UW-Stout on April 22, 2011. Brinkman, making his second collegiate start, struck out the first six batters he faced on the way to becoming the fourth UW-Oshkosh pitcher to register 16 or more strikeouts in a game. After striking out the side in the first two innings, Brinkman proceeded to add two more strikeouts during each of the third, fourth and fifth frames; one in both the sixth and seventh; and two during the eighth. Brinkman pitched eight innings against the Raiders, allowing three runs (one earned) on six hits and one walk. Brinkman’s 16 strikeouts were three shy of tying the WIAC record established by UW-Whitewater’s Greg Reinhard against UW-Stout on April 17, 2005.

Norton batted 7-for-15 (.467 avg.) with one home run, five runs scored and four runs batted in and added a .579 on-base percentage and three stolen bases during the No. 6-ranked Warhawks’ four-game set at No. 17-ranked Trinity University (Texas). He reached base four times and posted one run scored and one RBI in the series opener on March 3. On March 4, he collected two hits, one hit-by-pitch, two stolen bases, one run scored and one RBI during UW-Whitewater’s 7-3 win. He wrapped up the doubleheader with two hits, including a two-run homer, and finished with two runs scored and two RBI. Norton concluded the series on March 5, with two hits, one stolen base, one run scored and one RBI in UW-Whitewater’s 9-7 victory.

Brinkman pitched seven strong innings in his collegiate starting debut as UW-Oshkosh defeated Coe College (Iowa), 9-1, on March 6 in Decatur, Ill. Brinkman pitched the first seven innings for the Titans, allowing one run on four hits and a pair of walks with two strikeouts. Coe College had four total baserunners across the first three innings, but Brinkman kept the Kohawks scoreless by going on to retire the side in order during the fourth and fifth frames, and pitching around a two-out double in the sixth. Brinkman also pitched one scoreless inning of relief during UW-Oshkosh’s 14-7 loss to nationally ranked Birmingham-Southern College (Ala.) on Feb. 25 and the Titans’ 10-4 setback to nationally ranked Adrian College (Mich.) on Feb. 26.
