Bakkestuen finished the week with five hits in 11 at bats. During doubleheaders against UW-Whitewater and UW-Eau Claire, three of those hits were homeruns. She had a homerun against UW-Whitewater to tie the game in the sixth inning. Bakkestuen had another a homerun in each game of a doubleheader against UW-Eau Claire on May 7. Her three-run blast in the second game helped secure a 9-0 win. Bakkestuen finished with week with a .485 batting average and 1.273 slugging percent.

Fink pitched a pair of complete-game victories as UW-Oshkosh earned a share of the WIAC championship. The Titans compiled a 3-1 record during the week – winning both games of a non-conference doubleheader against visiting UW-Stevens Point on May 4, and splitting a conference doubleheader at UW-La Crosse on May 8. Fink pitched 12 innings during her two appearances and compiled a 1.17 ERA with 10 hits and two runs (both earned) allowed. She struck out six batters, while walking two. Fink pitched all five innings of UW-Oshkosh’s 10-2 five-inning non-conference win over UW-Stevens Point. She allowed six hits and two runs (both earned), while striking out two batters. Fink then helped UW-Oshkosh earn a share of this year’s WIAC title by pitching all seven innings of the Titans’ 3-0 conference victory over UW-La Crosse. Fink allowed just four hits and struck out four batters to lead the Titans to their first league title since 2007. The shutout was Fink’s third of the season.

Week of April 26 - May 2

O’Brien collected 10 hits in 18 at-bats (.556 avg.) and posted two doubles, one home run, one walk, five runs scored and three RBI during the week to help the Warhawks finish with a 6-0 record (2-0 WIAC). She started the week on April 26, with four hits, including a go-ahead, RBI single in the top of the ninth inning, during UW-Whitewater’s 3-2 win at UW-La Crosse. O’Brien registered two hits, including one double and one solo home run, in the second game, an 11-5 Warhawk victory. On April 28, she finished with two hits and two runs scored in UW-Whitewater’s 10-4 triumph over UW-Oshkosh. O’Brien topped off the week with two hits, including one double, with one run scored and a sacrifice fly for an RBI in the Warhawks’ 4-1 win over UW-Eau Claire in the first game of the doubleheader on May 1.

Bakkestuen had a strong week with a 2-0 record and 0.47 earned run average. She pitched the first five innings of the non-conference match-up against UW-Stevens Point on April 28 and didn’t allow a run and had three strikeouts. The Pointers were unable to advance a runner to third base against Bakkestuen. Against UW-La Crosse on April 30, she pitched three innings in which two of those were a “1-2-3” inning. Bakkestuen finished her week against UW-Stout in a non-conference matchup. She pitched a complete game shutout with 10 strikeouts and only allowed six hits. Four of the 10 strikeouts were “backwards K’s” and she had a three-strikeout sixth inning. For the week, Bakkestuen pitched 15 innings and had 16 strikeouts with one earned run and two walks.

Week of April 19 - 25

Candre hit .500 with three home runs and 11 RBI over UW-Stevens Point’s six games during the week. She had multiple hits in three games, including a career-high tying four hits in UW-Stevens Point’s first win over UW-Eau Claire since 2011. Her first multi-hit game came on April 20 against UW-Whitewater with two RBI.  On April 22, she had a hit and RBI in each game against UW-Oshkosh, while drawing three bases on balls. On April 24 against UW-Eau Claire, her bat came alive with three home runs, seven RBI, five runs scored and she drew two walks.  For the week, she slugged 1.000 and had an on-base percentage of .600.

Shattuck earned the complete-game shutout victory in UW-La Crosse's 1-0 win at UW-Whitewater on April 23. She went 7.0 innings, allowing three hits and two walks, while striking out four. Shattuck did not allow a hit until two outs in the fifth. It marked the first time UW-Whitewater was shutout this season. She also went 1-for-3 at the plate.

Buerger racked up five hits in UW-Stevens Point’s doubleheader at UW-La Crosse on April 17.  She posted a career-high four hits in game one with two home runs. Buerger drove in three and scored five runs to aid UW-Stevens Point in its highest run output of the season in a 14-6 win. In game two, she recorded a single to extend her hitting streak to four.

Sivak picked up two victories during the week to improve to 7-3 on the season. On April 16, Sivak earned a 1-0 complete game shutout over UW-La Crosse, scattering two hits and striking out four. She also received the win in a 6-2 victory at UW-Oshkosh on April 17. For the week, Sivak gave up just two earned runs in 11 innings of work for a 1.27 earned run average, while striking out five.

Knight hit. 750 (6-for-8) in three starts during the week with three runs scored, three RBI, one double and one home run. She finished with 10 total bases, and had a 1.250 slugging and .750 on-base percentage. In UW-La Crosse's doubleheader sweep of UW-River Falls on April 8, she went 5-for-6 with three RBI, one home run, one double and one run scored. She had the game-winning RBI in UW-La Crosse's 7-3 victory in the opener with a two-run home run. Knight finished 1-for-2 with a run scored in UW-La Crosse's 4-2 victory over UW-Stout on April 10.

Zerr went 2-0 during the week, picking up shutout wins over UW-Stout (6-0) and UW-River Falls (8-0). She struck out nine in 13 innings of work, scattering six hits and five walks. With the 0.00 ERA for the week, Zerr owns a 2.21 ERA for the season and improves to 6-4 overall.

O’Brien batted .867 (13-of-15) with four doubles, two home runs, an on-base percentage of .889 and a slugging percentage of 1.533 during the week to help the Warhawks to a 6-0 record. She also didn’t commit an error in the field and tallied 55 putouts. In the team’s first game of the week, a 3-1 win over nationally-ranked Carroll University (Wis.) on March 22, O’Brien finished 3-for-3 with one double and two runs scored. She finished the doubleheader with two more hits and one run scored in the nightcap. In UW-Whitewater’s doubleheader sweep over University of Chicago (Ill.) on March 27, O’Brien finished 6-for-6 at the plate with three doubles, two homers, one walk, two runs scored and four RBI. One day later, she registered two more hits in UW-Whitewater’s 8-2 victory over Wisconsin Lutheran College, and drew two walks and scored a run in the second game of the twin bill, a 17-0 Warhawk win in five innings.

She started the week on March 22, with a complete-game, 3-1 victory over nationally-ranked Carroll University (Wis.), allowing only one run on five hits without a walk. On March 28, Cleveland allowed only one earned run on five hits and one walk in a complete-game, 8-2 triumph over Wisconsin Lutheran College. She added a scoreless inning of relief in UW-Whitewater’s first game of a doubleheader against University of Chicago (Ill.) on March 27.

Sillman powered the Blugold offense in four games during week, hitting .455 (6-for-11) with an on-base percentage of .600 and slugging percentage of 1.091. She hit two homeruns and had six RBI, while scoring five runs and drawing four walks. UW-Eau Claire swept University of Northwestern-St. Paul (Minn.) on March 18 and dropped a pair of games to College of Saint Benedict (Minn.) on March 20.

Crotty worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the bottom of the seventh inning to earn the complete-game win during UW-Oshkosh’s 2-1 victory over nationally ranked Carroll University (Wis.) on March 20 in Waukesha. Crotty didn’t allow a runner in scoring position from the third through sixth innings, but Carroll University mounted a rally with two outs in the last of the seventh frame on a pair of singles and a hit batter. However, Crotty induced an infield popup to end the game. Crotty limited the Pioneers to six hits – all singles – and one walk with three strikeouts on just 69 pitches. Carroll University, which had its school-record 13-game winning streak snapped with the defeat, entered the day ranked 25th in the NCAA Division III by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. The Pioneers posted a 10-inning 2-1 victory over the Titans in the doubleheader opener.

Week of March 8 - 14

Place led the Blugold offense during the week as UW-Eau Claire split games against Bethel University (Minn.) and St. Catherine University (Minn.). She hit .611 over the four games – including 6-for-6 in the extra-inning win over St. Catherine – and came up clutch for UW-Eau Claire with a game-tying RBI in the seventh and knocked in the game-winning RBI in the ninth to defeat the Wildcats 12-11. The six hits set a school single-game record and matched a conference mark that was also accomplished by UW-Stevens Point’s Laura Van Abel on March 9, 2007.
Place posted an on-base percentage of .632 with a slugging percentage of .944 after finishing the week 11-for-18 with three doubles, a home run and six RBI.

Fink pitched a complete-game shutout in the opener as UW-Oshkosh began the 2021 season with a doubleheader sweep of St. Norbert College (Wis.) on March 9 in De Pere. The Titans won the opening game, 4-0, before winning the second contest, 8-0. Fink allowed just six hits to the Green Knights, with the lone extra-base hit being a first-inning double by Abby Primus. Fink recorded a career-high 11 strikeouts and issued a pair of walks during her performance.

Piton produced a .833 on-base percentage in a doubleheader against Bethany Lutheran College (Minn.) on March 6. In game one, she was 1-for-1 at the plate with a hit and walk. She followed it up in game two going 2-for-3 with a walk and run scored. Defensively, she recorded two putouts on a diving tag play to get out an advancing runner.

Hall went 7-for-9 (.778) at the plate with a double and scored seven runs over two games in UW-Stout's season opening sweep of UW-Superior on Feb. 27, in Mankato, Minn. As the team's lead-off hitter in both games, Hall went 3-for-4 with three runs scored in the first game. In the second game, Hall went 4-for-5 with four runs scored and one RBI. Hall had two stolen bases in the second game, stealing third base in the first inning and stealing home in the third game.

Wolterstorff came on in relief to pick the win in the second game 7-6 decision over UW-Superior in the season opener on Feb. 27, going four complete innings, allowing no runs, striking out eight and walking none, while facing 14 batters. Wolterstorff came on for UW-Stout’s starting pitcher in the fourth inning with two runners on base and no outs and stopped the rally, recording two strikeouts in the inning and threw out the lead off runner for the third out. Wolterstorff struck out two batters in both the fifth and the sixth innings, allowed a base runner in the bottom of the seventh, but recorded a strikeout for the final out of the game.

Week of Feb. 15 - 21

Taylor Nelson, Senior (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis./Assumption), Infield/Outfield of UW-Eau Claire
Nelson returned to play after sitting out the past two years due to injury and helped carry UW-Eau Claire to a 2-0 start, beating Nebraska Wesleyan University 11-3 and 14-2 on Feb. 20. Her two-out double in game one plated the first Blugold run of the season and her triple in the fourth would cap a nine-run fourth inning to secure the run-rule win. She picked up where she left off in game two, recording her second RBI double to put the Blugolds on the board and spark a seven-run second inning. In her first two games back, Nelson was a perfect 4-for-4, with one single, two doubles, a triple, and 4 RBI and drew a walk.

Tkach earned a win and a save in UW-Stevens Point’s sweep of Marian University (Wis.) in the season-opener, while posting a 0.00 ERA. In game one, she struck out six, while scattering four hits in 5.2 innings pitched. In game two, she tossed the final 2.0 frames, striking out three and giving up just one hit for the save. Opposing hitters batted just .179 against Tkach in the twin bill.
