Tinsley scored 24 points, going 9 of 14 in a 76-66 win over No. 7-ranked UW-La Crosse on Feb. 16, to close out the regular season. Tinsley scored 10 points in the first half as UW-Stout led 34-33 at halftime, then scored 14 points in the second half. He hit 2 of 5 3-pointers and all four free throws, with those four free throws coming in the final 45 seconds of the game to allow UW-Stout a more comfortable margin. Tinsley pulled down six rebounds and recorded two steals.

Gray averaged 22.5 points on 50 percent shooting from the floor and added 5.5 rebounds per contest to help the Warhawks post a pair of WIAC road wins against regionally ranked opponents. On Feb. 12 at UW-Stout, he tied his career high with 36 points and added 10 rebounds, one assist, one block and a career-best six steals in UW-Whitewater’s 81-67 victory. Gray’s performance included 11-of-18 shooting from the floor, 13-of-14 shooting from the free-throw line and 22 points in the first half. Three days earlier, Gray finished with nine points, two assists, one rebound and one block in the Warhawks’ 78-75 triumph at No. 5-ranked UW-Platteville.

Shields had another strong night in the Pioneers’ 76-72 win over No. 10-ranked UW-La Crosse on Jan. 26. He poured in a career-high 32 points, while also making his way into the top five for points in UW-Platteville basketball history with 1,553 points. Shields knocked in 11-of-12 from the free throw line, including two with 19 seconds remaining that gave the Pioneers a four-point lead. He also chipped in five rebounds.

Borchert averaged 27.5 points and 12 rebounds as UW-Oshkosh registered wins over UW-Platteville and UW-River Falls. Borchert compiled 55 points by shooting 60 percent (21-35) from the field and 61.9 percent (13-21) from the free throw line. He also totaled 24 rebounds (9 offensive), two assists and one steal. During UW-Oshkosh’s 83-67 road win over nationally ranked UW-Platteville on Jan. 19, Borchert scored 23 points with nine rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes of playing time. He made 7 of 15 shots from the field and 9 of 14 free throws against the previously unbeaten Pioneers. In the Titans’ 89-84 home win over UW-River Falls on Jan. 22, Borchert scored a career-high 32 points with 15 rebounds and one steal in 38 minutes of action. He converted 14 of 20 shots from the field and 4 of 7 free throws against the Falcons. The double-double was Borchert’s WIAC-leading ninth of the season.

He finished with 15 points, four rebounds and three assists against UW-River Falls on Jan. 12. Anderson totaled 22 points, five rebounds and two steals at UW-Eau Claire on Jan. 15. He shot 57.7 percent (15-of-26) from the field in the two games and 85.7 percent (six-of-seven) at the line.

Gray averaged 27.5 points on 47.8 percent shooting and added 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game last week to help the Warhawks win a pair of WIAC road games and improve to 4-0 in conference play. At No. 4-ranked UW-Oshkosh on Jan. 5, he posted a career-high 36 points to go with seven rebounds and four steals to help UW-Whitewater to an 82-78 overtime victory. He scored 10 points in the extra period alone, including a jumper that put UW-Whitewater ahead for good with 2:03 to play and a 3-pointer on the next possession that gave the team a four-point advantage. Three days later, Gray registered 19 points, three rebounds and two steals and hit the go-ahead jumper with 33 seconds left to help the Warhawks to a 77-72 triumph at UW-Eau Claire. The performance helped UW-Whitewater record its best start in league play since the 2014-15 season.

Muench averaged 22.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.5 steals as UW-Oshkosh improved its winning streak to nine games with home victories over St. Norbert College (Wis.), Calvin University (Mich.) and Ripon College (Wis.). Muench compiled 67 points in the three contests by shooting 50 percent (23-46) from the field and 86.7 percent (13-15) from the free throw line. He made 8 of 22 3-point shots (36.4 percent), while counting 16 rebounds (14 defensive), six assists and three steals and one blocked shot. During UW-Oshkosh’s 73-54 win over St. Norbert College on Dec. 21, Muench scored 14 points with six rebounds and one assist in 34 minutes of activity. Muench played his next two games at the UW-Oshkosh BSN Sports Winter Classic and was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player after leading UW-Oshkosh to a pair of victories. During UW-Oshkosh’s 78-56 win over Calvin University on Dec. 29, Muench scored a career-high 30 points with six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one blocked shot in 34 minutes of playing time. He connected on 11 of 21 shots from the field and 6 of 8 free throws. In the Titans’ 86-59 victory over Ripon College on Dec. 30, Muench tallied 23 points with four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 35 minutes of action. He made 7 off 11 shots from the field and all five free throws.

Casper led the Blugolds to a 103-96 overtime road win over Lawrence University (Wis.) on Dec. 14. He had a season-high 25 points and totaled four of the Blugolds’ 12 three pointers. In overtime, Casper sealed the deal by shooting 100% from the floor, including his fourth three pointer.

Williams led UW-Stout to two wins during the week. Williams scored 18 points in a 97-57 home win over Lakeland University (Wis.) on Dec. 6, then upped his scoring to 24 points in an 89-80 win at the University of Dubuque (Iowa) on Dec. 8. Against the Muskies, Williams was 8-of-13 from the field, 2-of-5 from 3-point range, pulled down five rebounds, dished off six assists and had one steal that allowed Williams to break away and dunk the ball early in the game. Against Dubuque, Williams was 9-of-18 from the floor, shot a career-best 6-of-9 3-point shots, had a career-best nine rebounds, five assists and one steal. For the week, Williams averaged 21.0 points, was 17-of-31 from the floor and 8-of-14 from 3-point range, with 14 rebounds, 11 assists and two steals against only one turnover. For the season, Williams is averaging 18.2 points (third in conference), 3.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists (third in conference).

Gray averaged 24.5 points per game on 50 percent shooting from the floor and 86.7 percent from the free-throw line and added 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per contest to help the Warhawks to a pair of WIAC victories at home during the week. He tallied a career-high 30 points on 9-of-18 shooting from the floor and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line and added eight rebounds and three steals in UW-Whitewater’s 92-76 triumph against UW-Stout. Earlier in the week, Gray collected a game-high 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting to go along with four rebounds in the Warhawks’ 83-70 win against UW-Stevens Point. He scored 10 in the second half to hold off the Pointers’ comeback attempt.

Hanson led the Falcons to three wins during the week, defeating University of Northwestern (Minn.), East Texas Baptist, and Howard Payne University (Texas). Hanson averaged 25.7 points per game and shot 23-of-44 from the field, 15-of-33 from three-point range, and 16-of-20 at the free-throw line. Against Northwestern on Nov. 23, he scored a career-high 34 points, matching the most points by a Falcon since 2016. In addition, he collected 5.7 rebounds per game and six steals.

He finished with 27 points, six rebounds and two blocks in a 75-74 overtime win at Augsburg University (Minn.) on Nov. 17, going 11-of-15 from the field, including three-of-four from three-point range. Anderson had 20 points, six rebounds and three assists in UW-La Crosse's 83-56 win over Buena Vista University (Iowa) on Nov. 20. For the week, he shot 64.5% (20-of-31) from the field, including 50.0% (four-of-eight) from three-point range, and 75.0% (three-of-four) at the line.

In a 3-0 week for the Pioneers, Shields led the way with 17.7 ppg, while shooting 61.8% from the floor, 66.7% from the three-point line, and 87.5% from the free-throw line. Shields added 4.3 rebounds per contest, as well as 4.0 assists and 1.7 steals. Shields committed only two turnovers in the three-game week, which led to a 6/1 assist-to-turnover ratio.

Anderson was named the MVP of the Virginia Wesleyan University TowneBank Tipoff Tournament Nov. 5-6 as UW-La Crosse went 2-0 to claim the tournament title. Anderson finished with 18 points, five assists, four rebounds and one steal in a 73-50 win over Methodist University (N.C.) on Nov. 5. He totaled 19 points, four rebounds and one steal in the 65-54 tournament championship game victory over host Virginia Wesleyan. Virginia Wesleyan is receiving votes on the D3hoops.com Top-25 Poll. Anderson shot 57.1% (16-of-28) from the field and 1.000% (four-of-four) at the free throw line in the two games.
