UW-La Crosse Sweeps WIAC All-Sports Awards

MADISON, Wis.
--University of Wisconsin-La Crosse has secured the three All-Sports Awards distributed by the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) for the 2025-26 academic year, winning the combined trophy, men’s award and women’s award.
 
The combined award for UW-La Crosse is the seventh consecutive and 13th overall. The Eagles totaled 93 points and were followed by UW-Whitewater (82); UW-Eau Claire (71); UW-Oshkosh (70.5); UW-Stevens Point (61); UW-Platteville (60); UW-River Falls (51); and UW-Stout (42).
 
The men’s trophy is the 26th overall and seventh straight. UW-La Crosse posted first-place finishes in cross country, swimming & diving, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field. The Eagles accumulated 45 points in the men’s standings and were trailed by: UW-Whitewater (41.5); UW-Eau Claire (33.5); UW-Platteville (30.5); UW-Stevens Point (27); UW-Oshkosh (24.5); UW-River Falls (21.5); and UW-Stout (17.5).
 
The women’s award is the third consecutive and 11th overall. The Eagles won conference titles in cross country, soccer, tennis, swimming & diving, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field. UW-La Crosse compiled 48 points in the women’s standings and was followed by: UW-Oshkosh (42); UW-Whitewater (40); UW-Eau Claire (37.5); UW-Stevens Point (33.5); UW-Platteville (29.5); UW-River Falls (28.5); and UW-Stout (24.5).
 
The three All-Sports Awards are given annually by the conference. Points for the awards are given according to the final conference standings in each sport on an 8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis, or 7-6-5, etc., depending on how many schools compete in each sport. Either (but not both) indoor or outdoor track & field are included in the calculations, and the awards are determined on the basis of the lowest number of sports offered by any WIAC institution in each category (combined - 14, women - 7, men - 7).
