UW-La Crosse’s Walter and UW-River Falls’ Blaha Invited To NFL Rookie Minicamps

MADISON, Wis.
--University of Wisconsin-La Crosse’s Dain Walter and UW-River Falls’ Kaleb Blaha have been extended invitations to NFL Rookie Minicamps. Walter will participate with the Green Bay Packers starting May 1, while Blaha will join the New Orleans Saints on May 9. Both camps include first-year players, draftees, undrafted free agents, and tryout participants.
 
Walter, a native of New Glarus, Wis. (New Glarus) was named to four NCAA Division III All-America honors after the 2025 season, earning D3football.com and American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) All-America First Team accolades, Associated Press All-America Second Team recognition and to the Walter Camp All-America Team. 

Voted to the 2025 All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) First Team, Walter also earned D3football.com All-Region 6 First Team accolades. 
 
Walter started all 11 games at left tackle while not allowing a quarterback sack. He helped UW-La Crosse average 29.5 points per game in 2025. The Eagles averaged 386.1 yards per game, including 136.5 rushing and 249.6 passing.  
 
Blaha, a native of Coon Rapids, Minn. (Fridley), has been one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in NCAA Division III history. He led the Falcons to their first NCAA Division III national championship and the first WIAC title since 1998, earning Stagg Bowl MVP honors and the Gagliardi Trophy as the nation's top Division III player.
 
Blaha's record-setting 2025 season saw him total 6,189 yards of offense, the most in a single season in NCAA history - across all divisions. Throughout his career, he accounted for over 14,000 yards of total offense, rewriting the UW-River Falls record book while earning multiple All-American and All-WIAC honors.
