UW-Stout To Host NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey First Round Contest

INDIANAPOLIS--University of Wisconsin-Stout has received a bid into the NCAA Division III Men’s Ice Hockey Championship and will host a first round contest.

The Blue Devils (21-5-1) secured an automatic bid into the 14-team field by winning the WIAC Tournament/Commissioner’s Cup (presented by Culver’s). UW-Stout will host Anna Maria College (Mass.) (20-5-2) in a first round game on March 14. The Blue Devils will their third NCAA appearance and first since 2009.

Quarterfinal games are scheduled for March 21, while the national semifinals and championship be held March 27 and 29, at Utica University (N.Y.).
