GLOUCESTER, Mass.
--University of Wisconsin-River Falls has landed four individuals on the 2025-26 CCM Hockey/American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) Women’s All-America West First Team. Jordan O’Kane, MaKenna Aure, Megan Goodreau and Sophia Hess received recognition. It is the most All-America first team selections in program history.

O’Kane was an All-America second team selection a year ago. She leads NCAA Division III with a .960 winning percentage and ranks third with eight shutouts. O'Kane recently set UW-River Falls and WIAC single-season records with her 24th victory, making a career-high 37 saves in a 1-0 shutout win over Williams College (Mass.) in the NCAA Quarterfinals.

Aure becomes the first four-time All-American in program history, receiving first team honors the last three years after claiming second team status in 2023. Already the program's highest-scoring defenseman entering the season, she became the first Falcon blueliner to surpass 100 career points and currently leads all NCAA Division III defensemen with 39 points (13 goals, 26 assists) in 26 games.

Goodreau is a three-time All-American and earned first team honors for the second straight year. The WIAC Player of the Year has appeared in all 29 games this season and leads the nation with 74 points (36 goals, 38 assists), adding 17 power-play goals and seven game-winning goals. She has broken multiple program records and is UW-River Falls' all-time leading scorer.

Hess was named a Laura Hurd Player of the Year finalist and the WIAC Newcomer of the Year. The nation's top-scoring freshman, she ranks second overall in NCAA Division III scoring behind linemate Goodreau. Hess has appeared in all 28 games and ranks second on the team in multiple statistical categories, including six power-play goals and two game-winning goals, while recording two hat tricks. She was also named the Panther/Cardinal Classic MVP after scoring the game-winning goal against Endicott in the championship game on Nov. 30. Hess is the fourth freshman All-American in program history.

This group has led the Falcons to a third consecutive NCAA semifinal appearance, while securing the WIAC regular season title and the program's seventh straight WIAC O'Brien Cup championship. UW-River Falls enters the weekend with a 28-1 overall record and leads Division III in scoring.
