UW-Eau Claire’s Stanwood and UW-Oshkosh’s Perlberg Lead Seven Honorees on AVCA All-America Team

LEXINGTON, Ky.
--University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Abby Stanwood and UW-Oshkosh’s Samantha Perlberg were selected to the 2025 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) NCAA Division III All-America First Team to lead the seven Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) honorees receiving All-America status.
 
UW-Eau Claire’s Bailey Leeke and UW-Oshkosh’s Lauren Grier received second team honors, while UW-Platteville’s Kierney McDonald and UW-Whitewater’s Abbie Dix were third team selections. UW-Oshkosh’s Grace Juergens claimed honorable mention status.
 
Stanwood leads the WIAC with 507 kills and 565 points, while tying for eighth with 42 service aces. She is 10th with 345 digs and a .270 hitting percentage. Stanwood has compiled 13 double-doubles, including a 28 kills and 23 digs performances against Illinois Wesleyan University on Oct. 17.
 
Leeke claimed All-America accolades for the second straight year after landing on the third team a year ago. This season, she is tied for third in the conference with 424 kills and 480.5 points, and seventh with a .290 hitting percentage. Leeke has reach double-digits in kills 23 times, including five double-doubles. She had a 23 kills and 17 digs performances against UW-Oshkosh on Nov. 15. Leeke was tabbed the Most Outstanding Player of the Pittsburgh Regional.
 
Perlberg, the WIAC Offensive Player of the Year and AVCA Region 8 Player of the Year, ranks second in the conference with 502 kills and 564 points, eighth with 407 digs and 12th with a .245 hitting percentage. She has collected 19 double-doubles, including a career match at UW-Whitewater on Oct. 26, when she matched the program single-game record of 32 kills. Perlberg was tabbed the Most Outstanding Player of the Oshkosh Regional.
 
Grier is second in the WIAC with a .313 hitting percentage and 121 blocks, and 15th with 279 points. She has reached double-digits in kills in six contests, including a season-best 12 on two occasions. Grier added a season-high nine blocks in two matches.
 
McDonald secured her second All-America award after receiving honorable mention in 2024. She is tied for third in the conference with 105 blocks and a .304 hitting percentage, ninth with 378 points and 10th with 307 kills. McDonald accumulated double-digits in kills 17 times, including a season-high 19 against UW-Stevens Point on Sept. 30.
 
Dix tops the conference with 164 blocks – a mark that leads NCAA Division III for the second consecutive season and is second to the program record (181) she set a year ago. Dix ranks fifth in the WIAC with 434 points and sixth with 327 kills and a .295 hitting percentage.
 
Juergens is fourth in the WIAC with 435.5 points, tied for fourth with 47 service aces, fifth with 373 kills and 11th with 340 digs.
