Each week during the 2025-26 academic year, the WIAC will feature two student-athletes (one male and one female) from one of its eight institutions for a “Student-Athlete Spotlight” Q & A segment. The segments will be posted every Thursday and individuals are selected by the institution. The WIAC Student-Athlete Spotlights are presented by Culver's.

Why did you choose UW- Steven’s Point
I chose UW-Stevens Point because I loved the idea of being part of a smaller team. I wanted an environment where I could build strong relationships with my teammates and coaches, and where I wouldn’t just be another number. I value strong relationships, collaboration, and personal growth, and UWSP has provided an environment and community where those qualities are encouraged both on and off the field.
What other clubs/organizations on campus are you involved in?
I am the vice president of the National Wellness Institute – UWSP chapter.
What do you like most about competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and being a NCAA Division III student-athlete?
The WIAC is one of the most competitive Division III conferences in the nation. Because we are a Division III program, I am surrounded by individuals who are passionate about everything they do. They make sacrifices because they love to play, not because of scholarships or recognition. That genuine love for the game creates a really motivating environment where everyone competes for the right reasons and pushes one another to be better every day.
