She shot a 74-75-149 to finish five over at Clifton Highlands Golf Club in Prescott, Wis. Imai had 30 pars and birdie to lead the Blue Devis to the team win. (Johnsburg) MEN’S SOCCER Offense Nathan Donovan, Senior (Hazel Green, Wis./Wahlert Catholic), Forward of UW-Eau Claire Donovan led the Blugold offense with two goals and three assists during opening weekend to help UW-Eau Claire start the season 2-0. His assist in the season opener led to the game-winning goal over Edgewood College (Wis.). Donovan then captured a brace and two assists in the Blugolds 4-1 win over Macalester College (Minn.) with an early goal to set the tone and the eventual game-winning goal in the second half. UW-Platteville allowed just six total shots, and Aiken helped UW-Platteville flip field position effectively off of goal kicks. McMahon then had one assist with three shots (one on goal) in a 7-1 win at The College of St. Scholastica (Minn.) on Sept. 1. (West) WOMEN’S TENNIS Singles Shelby Roth, Sophomore (Neenah, Wis./Neenah), of UW-La Crosse Roth earned a straight set victory (6-2, 6-2) over Gracie Ha of UW-Whitewater in UW-La Crosse's 5-4 dual victory on Aug. 30. It marked UW-La Crosse's first dual win over UW-Whitewater since a 6-3 victory on Oct. 7, 2006, snapping a 17-match losing streak to the Warhawks. It was also UW-Whitewater's first WIAC dual loss since UW-La Crosse's win in 2006. The Warhawks had won 102 consecutive conference duals. (Mishawaka Marian) WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL Offense Riley Kindt, Senior (Brookfield, Wis./Central), Middle Blocker of UW-Oshkosh In the Titans’ 3-1 opening weekend against two nationally ranked teams and two more that received votes in the preseason poll at the Colorado College Pikes Peak Challenge held Aug. 30-31, Kindt hit .386 with 46 kills, notched 17 blocks and served up four aces. She reached double-digit kills three times, recording 11 against both Colorado College and No. 11-ranked Transylvania University (Ky.) and 17 against Millikin University (Ill.). She reached double-digit digs in all three matches, with her weekend high of 21 coming in the win over Bethel on Aug. 31.
