Student-Athlete Spotlight: Moya Murray, UW-River Falls

Why did you choose UW-River Falls?
I chose University of Wisconsin-River Falls because I’m able to balance my major, play soccer and the culture of my team where it’s a family-like atmosphere.
 
What other clubs/organizations on campus are you involved in?
None.
 
What causes do you care about?
Depletion of natural resources.

What do you like most about competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and being a NCAA Division III student-athlete?
Being a Division III student-athlete presents an opportunity to be an athlete while also working towards my degree. I love the thought that I am constantly surrounded by athletes that are strictly competing for the love of their sport and not based off scholarships. I enjoy the competitive atmosphere each game brings and forever grateful for the memories, friends, and connections I’ve made.
