UW-River Falls' Hilley and UW-La Crosse's Quelle Named WIAC Kwik Trip Women's Volleyball Athletes of the Week

MADISON, Wis.--University of Wisconsin-River Falls' Sami Hilley and UW-La Crosse's Sophie Quell have been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Women's Volleyball Athletes of the Week for the week of Oct. 18 - 24.

Hilley (So., Champlin, Minn./Park) led the Falcon attack during three matches on the week, including a pair of wins over Luther College (Iow) and Augsburg University (Minn.) on Oct. 24. Through 10 sets, she averaged 3.1 kills per set with a .474 hitting percentage, headlined by a performance of 20 kills with a .655 attack percentage versus Augsburg.

Quelle (Sr., Libero, McFarland, Wis./McFarland) averaged 5.70 digs in three matches during the week. She produced 23 digs against Illinois Institute of Technology on Oct. 22, and 22 versus UW-River Falls on Oct. 20. Quelle recorded 12 digs and six assists at Concordia University (Wis.) Oct. 22.
