Women's Ice Hockey 4/24/2020 2:43:43 PM Four Secure All-USCHO Women’s All-America Distinction Official USCHO Release MADISON, Wis.--Four Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) individuals have been selected to the 2020 All-USCHO NCAA Division III Women’s All-America Team. University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Erin Connolly and UW-River Falls’ Abigail Stow were first team selections, while UW-River Falls’ Hailey Herdine and UW-Superior’s Kaleigh Martinson received second team recognition. Connolly, the WIAC Player of the Year, led the conference with a 0.94 goals-against-average, 20 victories, nine shutouts and .948 save percentage, while ranking fourth with 438 saves. Her 20 wins established a program single-season record. Stow topped the league with 41 points, six game-winning goals and four power-play goals, while finishing second with 24 goals and a plus/minus of +33, and fourth with 17 assists. She matched a program record with four goals against Northland College (Wis.) on Feb. 1. Stow also had a hat trick against Bethel University (Minn.) on Jan. 11. Herdine compiled a WIAC-leading 25 assists and plus/minus of +34, while finishing fourth with 31 points. She also added a pair of game-winning goals. Martinson led the league with 26 goals, while finishing second with 36 points and third with four game-winning goals. Martinson topped the NCAA Division III with four short-handed goals. Her 26 goals rank second on the school’s single-season scoring list, while her 36 points are 10th all-time. # # # # #
