Nine Receive D3football.com All-America Accolades
MADISON, Wis.--Nine Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference individuals have been selected to the 2016 D3football.com All-America Team.
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh’s Reese Dziedzic, UW-Platteville’s Dan Arnold and UW-Stout’s Drew Pearson were first team selections, while UW-Oshkosh’s Johnny Eagan and UW-Whitewater’s Tony Koepnick, Vince Mason and Brandon Tamsett were second team honorees. UW-Oshkosh’s Vincent Basile was a third team pick and UW-Whitewater’s Austin Jones secured honorable mention status.
Dziedic’s selection marks the fourth time in the last five years that the Titans have placed a player on the first team. Arnold is the second player in program history to receive first team recognition, joining Jacob Zilbar (2014), while Pearson is the first Blue Devils to claimed first team laurels since 2010.
Koepnick claimed All-America honors for the second straight year after receiving third team plaudits a season ago.
