UW-Eau Claire’s DeLisle Chosen Women’s Gymnastics Coach of the Year
MADISON, Wis.--University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire head coach Jean DeLisle has been selected the 2012 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women’s Gymnastics Coach of the Year based on a voting by the league coaches.
DeLisle earned the honor for the third time in her career after directing the Blugolds to a third-place finish at the WIAC championship/National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) West Regional. It was their best finish at the event since a second-place finish in 2006. UW-Eau Claire also earned a team spot in the NCGA championship that will be held March 23-24 in Brockport, N.Y.
