Andrew Rock earned a total of 17 NCAA Division III All-America honors in track & field, including nine national titles.   He became the first athlete in NCAA Division III history to win three straight indoor 400-meter dash titles (2002-04).  Rock also won two consecutive outdoor 400-meter dash championships (2003-04) and took the outdoor 200-meter dash (2003).  He was a member of three national champion 4x400-meter relays (2003-04 indoor; 2004 outdoor).

A member of eight NCAA Division III and seven WIAC championship teams, Rock won 17 league titles in his career.  He was named the WIAC Outdoor Track Performer of the Meet three times and was the first athlete in league history to win four straight 400-meter dash outdoor crowns.  Rock also won four 200-meter dash indoor titles.

Rock earned a gold medal as part of the United States’ 4x400-meter relay at the 2004 Olympic Games.  He was sixth in the 400-meter dash at the 2004 United States Olympic Trials and a silver medalist in the 400-meter dash at the 2005 World Outdoor Championships.  Rock was ranked second in the United States and third in the World in the 400-meter dash in 2005.

A two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American, Rock was inducted into UW-La Crosse’s Wall of Fame in 2014.  In 2012, he was selected to the WIAC Men’s Track & Field All-Time Team in conjunction with the conference’s Centennial Celebration.

Rock earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and resides in Prior Lake, Minn.
