Tori Neubauer-Muesing won six NCAA Division III titles in cross country and track & field.  She captured the national crown in cross country in 1982 and 1983, one of four women in NCAA Division III history to win multiple titles.   Neubauer-Muesing placed sixth at the 1981 Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women Championships.  She also won conference cross country championships in 1982 and 1983.

She captured national outdoor titles in the 3,000 and 5,000-meter runs in 1983, and the 5,000 and 10,000-meter runs in 1984.  Inducted into the USTFCCCA Hall of Fame, Neubauer-Muesing won four NAIA indoor championships – the two-mile run in 1983 and 1984, as well as the mile run and as a member of the distance medley relay team in 1983.  In conference competition, she captured eight track & field titles (three indoor; five outdoor) and still owns the conference record in the outdoor 5,000-meter run.

Neubauer-Muesing qualified for the Olympic Trials in 1984 and 1988.  She is a member of UW-La Crosse’s Wall of Fame and UW-La Crosse’s women’s cross country home meet is named in her honor.  In 2012, she was named to the WIAC Women’s Cross Country and Women’s Track & Field All-Time Teams in conjunction with the conference’s Centennial Celebration.

Neubauer-Muesing earned a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation and resides in Chaska, Minn.
